The trail supports Life Flight’s lifesaving Westpac Chopper and Air Ambulance Planes.

Celebrating Aotearoa’s Creative Community
30 finalised designs were selected from more than 130 applications by artists across the motu to be part of Bee in the City.
Thanks to The Wellington Company, the artists brought their designs to life, transforming the Bees into unique works of art, each with its own story to tell.
Bee in the City launches on 14 September 2026 and runs until 8 November, then the Bees will be auctioned to help raise life-saving funds for Life Flight.
