I had the honour of donating my time and skills to create this plaster relief mural for Nourished for Nil, a remarkable food rescue charity dedicated to feeding and uplifting our community.
Created to beautify their Queen Street depot in Hastings, the mural is a celebration of abundance, nature, and the spirit of giving. Lush tropical foliage, vibrant hibiscus blooms, and the presence of the kiwi bird reflect not only our natural surroundings but also our shared values of care, connection, and generosity.
This piece is more than a mural—it’s a story of purpose, crafted with gratitude. A reminder that the creative process holds as much meaning as the final work, and that art, when shared freely, can nourish hearts just as deeply as food nourishes bodies.
