Coming soon: a limited release, crafted solely for Hereworth School’s Inaugural Art Exhibition — 29–31 August 2025

‘The Banquet’ Sculptural Relief

The Banquet

Sculptural relief in plaster | 1010mm x 710mm | One of a kind

A sculpted reflection on abundance, prosperity, and the beauty of slow living.

Symbolic elements — the orange, cheese, grapes, wine, lobster, kererū, and plum tree — each embody gratitude, good fortune, and the joy of sharing.

More than a still life, The Banquet is a quiet invitation to savour presence, welcome prosperity, and honour life’s true riches — slowly, intentionally, and with grace.

Piwakawaka & Peonies Sculptural Relief 1/2

Piwakawaka & Peonies (1/2 Diptych)

Sculptural relief in plaster | 520mm x 840mm | One of a kind

In a quiet moment between breath and bloom, the piwakawaka hovers — wings mid-flight, as if caught in a dream. Around it, peonies unfurl in sculpted stillness, their layered petals whispering tales of grace and renewal.

This piece is a part of a Chinoiserie-inspired diptych, a tribute to the beauty of restraint and the poetry of nature.

Here, time slows.

Form speaks.

And silence blossoms.

‘Kōtuku’ Sculptural Relief

Kōtuku

Sculptural relief in plaster | 520mm x 720mm | One of a kind

In Māori culture, the kōtuku is a rare and sacred visitor — seen but once in a lifetime. In this sculptural relief, it stands alone beneath the full moon, motionless yet powerful, surrounded by still water and silence.

This isn’t just a bird — it’s a symbol of prestige, peace, and presence.

Created slowly by hand, this piece invites stillness. It honours the quiet strength that comes from waiting, from knowing, from simply being.
